This is the poster I designed to promote the film. I kept it dark in colour in order to give a dark vibe, I felt a light cover would conflict with the style of the film. I figured the photo was suitable as it asks questions and doesn't really answer any, leading to a viewer wanting to watch it.
I have shown this to an audience and the general feedback is that it looks smart and and official.
Some quotes -
" I like how the door is in the background, as it visually add some depth to the picture and is also relevent to the theme of the poster".
" I think it is good that emphasis is put on the eyes and the letter, and that this is subtly aided by the highlighting of these parts".
"The emotion caught in the subject of the poster is great, as it really captures shock, worry and fear, therefore leaving you wondering what is on the other side of the letter, and wanting to see the film".
